Diploma in Accounting and Business
The objective of the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Accounting and Business qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required by a middle or senior manager in an organisation, and who may be involved in managing organisational finances, investment and risk, audit and assurance, or research.

The Target Group for this course is individuals already working as, or planning to work as, Accounts Assistants, Junior Accountants, Finance Assistants, Bookkeepers, Payroll Assistants, Administrative Officers, Accounts Receivable Officers, or similar roles.

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
Successful completion of this qualification provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions. This qualification has been developed with career progression and professional recognition in mind. Learners are eligible to gain direct entry into relevant Master’s degree programmes.
