Diploma in Information Technology

The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop a broad base of knowledge and skills that will enable them to work in a variety of roles in the IT industry.

The programme will focus on topics such as cyber security, computer programming, web and mobile applications, computer and network technology, systems analysis and design and managing digital information.

The Target Group for this course is recent school graduates who have completed high school and are aspiring IT Professionals & Tech Enthusiasts; Those who want to start or pivot into careers in software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking.

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.

Successful completion of this qualification will support learners progressing to university, and to provide learners with the requisite skills and knowledge to enter the world of work in their chosen sector.
