Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management qualification is to provide learners with a specialist programme of study that provides a depth of knowledge and understanding of key aspects within the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector.

The Level 4 units introduce contemporary Business and Logistics and Supply Chain Management topics. The units combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of academic and research skills, logistics and the business environment, operations management, effective performance, planning and accountability, finance, communication, management and team working.

The Target Audience for this course is 18+. The Target Group for this course is recent school graduates who have completed high school and are aspiring Supply Chain Professionals; Individuals aiming to start a career in logistics, transportation, inventory, procurement, or global trade.

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.

Successful completion of this qualification provides learners with the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions within the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector. This qualification will allow learners to work in a variety of roles within logistics and supply chain management and to progress to further study.
