Cross College Malta accepts bookings through a booking form which is completed online. In making such bookings, clients accept our bookings and cancellation policy. A deposit is to be paid to Cross College Malta to guarantee your booking.

Course Cancellation and Refund Policy

In terms of fee refunds, Cross College Malta abides with the provisions of S.L. 327.433 (Laws of Malta) and confirms that: 

  • It clearly states refund policy to all students by listing such policies on the registration forms which are agreed upon and signed by the students prior to the start of the course. 
  • Refund provisions are compatible with the consumer protection laws of Malta.
  • Students are not denied taking further action under the Consumer Affairs Act (cap.378) of the Laws of Malta. 
  • Students are not prevented from seeking any other legal Remedies.
  • Students are notified of the time when fees may be claimed and the % amount of refund applicable (see below). 

Students who have paid tuition fees for our courses may avail of the following refund policy: Withdrawal from course on or before (and prior to arrival to Malta or any other Schengen Area Country for Third Country Nationals who require a Student Visa):  

  • 3 weeks prior to the start of the course – 100% of fees paid
  • 2 weeks prior to the start of the course – 50% of fees paid only 
  • 1 week prior to the start of the course – 25% of fees paid only 
  • Once course started – 0% of fees paid – no refund is applicable. 

Refund at the above rates is normally paid 14 weeks from refund application date (by means of a written request by the withdrawing student).

Third Country National students who would have already travelled to Malta or any other Schengen Area Country with a student Visa will be termed as having started the course, and as per above policy, no refund would be applicable in the event of withdrawal from the course. 

An Exit Fee of EURO 2,000 will be applicable for any candidate who wishes to exit earlier from a course and obtain an Exit award (if all the ECTS of such an award are successfully completed), which is an MFHEA recognised qualification, inclusive of course transcript.

The exit award fee is not applicable if a candidate withdraws from a course and is not awarded with an exit award. A letter of completion listing the modules successfully completed will be given to such a candidate.

Cross College Rights

Cross College does not store credit card details. Cross College reserves the right to cancel a Programme if insufficient bookings have been received. Students will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the Programme fee. Cross College reserves the right to refuse any booking. Cross College reserves the right to make changes to the programme.

Photo and Video Disclaimer

Cross College reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at Cross College without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Cross College may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced. To ensure the privacy of individuals, images and/or videos will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian. A person attending a Cross College activity who does not wish to have their image and/or video recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, videographer and/or the event organisers.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta.
